About me

Micro Crawlers was created by Justin Noble, a lifelong RC enthusiast who has been building, modifying and running radio-controlled cars since 1987.

Justin’s first RC car was the legendary Tamiya Lunchbox, and that early introduction sparked a passion that has lasted for decades. Since then, he has owned and driven a wide range of classic and modern RC vehicles, including the Traxxas Slash, Tamiya Blackfoot, Grasshopper, Hornet, Grasshopper 2, Mitsubishi Shogun, Subaru Impreza, VW Beetle, Mini, Ferrari Enzo, and many more.

One of Justin’s favourite parts of the hobby has always been modifying and improving RC cars. His Mitsubishi Shogun, for example, was heavily modified and transformed into a surprisingly capable crawler long before micro crawling became the hobby niche it is today.

Today, Justin’s focus is on the growing world of 1:24 scale and micro RC crawlers. His current collection includes several FMS Micro Crawlers, including the Hummer, Blazer Pro and Lemur, along with an Element Sendero 1:24.

Micro Crawlers exists to share that enthusiasm with other hobbyists, whether you are completely new to RC crawling or already deep into upgrades, trails, scale accessories and tiny technical driving lines.

Justin also has a long history of supporting the RC community online. In 2011, he founded IconicRC.com, a community website for RC enthusiasts, which he ran until moving on from the project in 2016. He also created and ran the RC Know How website for several years from around 2010, sharing knowledge, guides and resources with fellow hobbyists.

Micro Crawlers continues that same spirit: practical advice, honest enthusiasm and a love for small-scale RC vehicles that deliver big fun.

Whether you are here for reviews, upgrades, setup ideas, inspiration or simply to enjoy the world of micro RC crawling, welcome to Micro Crawlers.
